Flawlessing hench/heroway teams is part of it. When 95% teams you face are one of the two and not a single match against them lasts for more than a minute its BORING. By the time you take into account waiting it's at least 5 minutes before you have a CHANCE of getting a real team, and even hitting broken tower and having a good chance of the other teams both being Heroway its about 10 minutes.

PvP just died!

There is nolonger any need for real players, heroway has killed PvP.

I mean the 'builds' haven't even been found yet, and its already a crisis.

Don't believe the people in this threa go try a few rounds of HA.

I would rather the rank-ist group hate over heroway.

My team can beat other ha "solos" 1v1 all the time.

But in 3 team caps, when the other two teams are henches, and your team is full of real players, guess what....GANK time. If I want to fight with heroes I go play heroe's battle. At least set a limit to like maximum 2 NPC player for a team of 6. Fighting heroes in HA is boring. But guess what, I think anet doesn't care about pvpers much now. But I remember they said they'll put in a new pvp mode after nightfall's release. They said that in the dvd that came with the nf ce.

Anet, please make pvp more enjoyable, here is what you can do. Make people play those factions pvp again. You can allow organized team in fa and jade and give better rewards. That'll be very fun.

Start earning fame? is it so important? If you play with AI, even if you earn fame, you don't learn ANYTHING. High level pvp in guildwars is a TEAM GAME. If you're a noob, and you want to get into HA, you should not be worry about FAME! I'm sick of noobs who just want to gain fame asap so they can play with good players. Again, you need to LEARN to play in a team first before you worry about fame. You can be r12 with all the fame farming with your heroes, you're still a NOOB.

except people base how good you are on rank supeat. Try getting into an even half assed team with rank 0. If you do, the team won't get past the zaishenhalf the time. However, I'm a rank 2 gladiator, 600 bal faction, unranked, gald points all earned from builds I've made. I dont hoh, I'm very experienced at guild wars, I simply do not play because hoh is simply gay, theres no way I'd get in a decent team unless I use a guild.
Now if there was a title which actually DID show how SKILLED you are (e.g. you cant get gladiator being a nOOb its based on TEN consective wins not wins) at HA, I might actually try for it cause then I can get relaible people. But working to get a rank so I can go play with some people I have no idea how good they are? Screw that

Skill based on rank only lasts as far as the first match. When you make a completel fool of yourself because you have no idea what your doing since you did nothing but heroway, your going to get kicked from the group.

Heroes can attack different targetes or your target or defend whatever you assign it to do, and yes With heroes you have 4 skill bars to contend with, I can spike Obsidain Flame with eh best of em with heroes if I so choose, Or I can spread out the dmage by having heroes attack multiple targets then away from the one I am attacking... Hell I can even set them to defend a flag point while I am off doing something else... And call them when I need them by simplily retasking them...

So STFU if you do not know what your talking about you little piss ant looloo.

I've ran into quite a few henchspike teams now, and frankly... I've seen better R0 spike-teams without TS/Vent...

But I'll give you this much, if you can actually do what you said above aswell as you are trying to make it out to sound, your probably one of the better ones out there.. But that still won't stop you from getting rolled by any half-decent team.

After running/losing to/winning against heroway in the past few days.. I believe that Hero NPCs should be kept in the Hero-only PVP ground because HA is now very very dead.

HA is a pvp ground, not a pve-npc fame farming ground.

eh no I'm saying a team that is unranked entirely (one that would accept a rank 0) half the time wont get past the zaishen supeat.

Edit: IN fact gladiator 10 consecutive wins was a title made way after rank. So anet prolly prefers a sort of conecutive wins like 5 consec in HA or something. I'm simply suggesting an update

but now being unranked is like being banned from playing HA....RIDICULOUS!

If u think HA is PvP, form a l33t human guild/group/team and beat the hell out of heroway/henchway....tht's free fame for first 3 maps. at least tht's wat im doing.....

what is the point of playing against one person and computers who have unbelievable reactions. Try casting anything against an interrupter hero and then see how much fun it is.
Players Versus Players it's called that for a reason. Whether you win or lose to them is immaterial. All you people are saying that if you can beat them then you get free fame and that you shouldn't complain but what is the point of fame if there are no groups forming, if it is just one person with henchmen/heros. I don't know about you but to me rank is there so you can get into higher ranked groups (not necessarily better but most of the time the quality of the group increases with rank).
All the people running heroway are even worse than IWAY. Once in a while is alright if you are bored and are waiting for some friends to get on or something but nonstop heroway? Why bother getting fame if all it gets you is a different animal thingy.

Ok, if the big arguement is "Heroway sucks anyway - it'll go away once the scrubs realize that"...why am I seeing top-rated guilds using it?

I just observed moded a #30, #60 and #11 guild - and each of them were using Heroway. One Team had 1 Player, one had 2 Players, The other had 2 again.

And most of their opponents were running heroway, too!

Fortunately - the non-hero-using teams I saw generally WHIPPED the heroway teams...but that's not exactly the point.

If even the top-rated guilds are running heroway...what chance do the 'scrubs' have to avoid it?
